Healthways SilverSneakers®

SilverSneakers® Classic - Tue and Thu 9:30AM

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

SilverSneakers® Yoga - Fri 9:30AM

Move through a whole-bodyseries of seated and standing yoga poses and breathing exercises. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Pickleball 101

Never heard of Pickleball? It’s a fun paddle sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It’s easy to learn, and suitable for all ages and skill levels. Fall Sessions starting soon.

In this program, participants take core and elective classes that combine evidence-informed materials, expert speakers, group discussion, levels of mastery and achievement, and small rewards. All of the courses are designed to provide the skills and tools needed to achieve measurable improvements in managing health, remaining economically secure, and contributing actively in society.
